ConocoPhilips Selects IDS's
ConocoPhillips — Lake Charles, La. — IDS announced it has been awarded a contract by ConocoPhillips to provide a 27-position radio-over-Internet Protocol RoIP dispatch console at the company’s Lake Charles, La., facility. This state-of-the-art RoIP-based console system will replace an older legacy-type console that has become difficult to maintain. One of the primary reasons for choosing IDS was the simplicity of design and the ease in deploying additional positions wherever and whenever they were required. The full feature sets of the IDS console will enable ConocoPhillips to deploy a superior system for superior economics.
