NSTAR - Selects IDS's
IDS has been awarded a contract to provide an emergency backup system for NSTAR’s Southborough, Mass., facility. The system is comprised of nine radio-over-Internet Protocol (RoIP) Dispatch Positions for use during emergencies. IDS was selected for the critical project based on its expertise in deploying similar systems throughout the United States. The system will be operational by late November 2006. NSTAR provides natural gas and electricity to Boston and surrounding areas.
