Pinnacle to Deploy 4.9MHz MeshNetwork for Bergen County

The Bergen County Sheriff's Office has awarded Pinnacle Wireless a contract to supply a 4.9MHz MeshNetwork. The MeshNetwork manufactured by Firetide will consist of more than 70 Mesh Routers, which will be deployed throughout the Bergen County Justice Center in Hackensack, NJ. The system will support wireless local area networking (WLAN), video and 802.11 Internet access.

Once deployed, the network will provide fixed and mobile connectivity for the Sheriff’s Department to include the ability to deploy temporary tactical MeshNetworks during responses to emergencies.
